Economy Actively support medical and research institutions such as UAB, retaining talent, preserving Birmingham’s tax base, and driving economic development through innovation. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Offer highest pay rates and 2,000 incentives to build a diverse 500-800 patrol police force focused on community policing, significantly reducing crime, particularly Black-on-Black violence. Arts / Culture Fund and support regular citywide chess tournaments and intellectual competitions, promoting critical thinking, mentorship, and community unity. Education Partner with influential investors to transform the Birmingham-Southern College campus into a cutting-edge STEM and Agriculture educational hub, empowering local youth and stimulating economic growth. Infrastructure / Transportation Aggressively address infrastructure issues by paving damaged roads, and launching citywide cleanup efforts to enhance neighborhood safety, appearance, and pride using 21st century technology. Social Services Establish comprehensive city recycling programs and affordable healthy food initiatives, increasing food security and sustainability across Birmingham communities. Social Services Construct two state-of-the-art athletic complexes in Southwest and West Birmingham, providing positive pathways and opportunities for young athletes to thrive and compete globally. Economy Ensure fairness, honesty, and complete transparency in city contracting processes, providing equitable opportunities especially for local Black-owned businesses. Wages / Job Benefits Ncrease Minimum Wage 15 – 18. Economy Launch targeted support initiatives including grants, resources, and streamlined permitting, fostering growth for small businesses and economic empowerment for Black entrepreneurs.
