My Top Issues

Government Reform

As your City Council representative, I’ll take a more thoughtful, data driven approach — one that balances safety with common sense and community input. That means exploring targeted solutions that work for each neighborhood, not one-size-fits-all fixes. I’ll also support continued investment in public safety, ensuring our first responders have the tools and support they need to keep our community secure.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

Safety isn’t just about statistics — it’s about how we feel in our own neighborhoods. Together, we can make Homewood safer, more walkable, and more responsive to the people who call it home.

Government Reform

As your City Council representative, I’ll build on that progress by pushing for even stronger oversight, independent audits, and full transparency around city spending. I’ll advocate for clear, enforceable policies that prevent abuse — and for a culture at City Hall in which ethical stewardship of taxpayer dollars is the standard, not the exception.

Environment / Energy

As your City Council representative, I’ll advocate for equitable investment in all of Homewood’s parks — not just the most visible ones. That means addressing long-standing maintenance problems, improving accessibility, and ensuring our public spaces are safe, welcoming, and inclusive for everyone.

Education

As your City Council representative, I’ll work to strengthen the partnership between the city and the school system to ensure we’re planning ahead for future needs. That includes being proactive about growth, protecting school funding, and making smart decisions about development that consider the impact on enrollment and classroom resources.
