Government Reform I will pursue alternative voting technologies that do not share the same vulnerabilities, and are readily available for public inspection, while requiring paper ballots. This approach will improve efficiency and provide complete audit capabilities (not risk limiting audits), helping to restore public confidence in our elections. Government Reform Additionally, I will withdraw Georgia from the costly Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) system which is essential for cleaning our voter rolls. Funding this third-party service which sources beyond our oversight while serving less than half the states is expensive, poses privacy concerns, and is ineffective…a waste of our tax dollars. Government Reform Requiring voters to update their registration on short notice during an election year undermines trust in our electoral process and raises concerns about whether their votes will count. Before sending demand letters, I will ensure voters ability to verify their registration status online or by contacting the Secretary of State’s office year-round, giving them ample time to address any issues. Government Reform Under a King Administration, sufficient support of county election boards, offices, and staff is my promise. This will include adequate funding and staffing, training on processes and procedures, public education about the office’s role, and direct access to the Secretary of State’s office to answer questions. Government Reform Through process streamlining, education and training of SOS staff, and expanding privatization methods to speed up the review and approval process, I will cut through Government “Red Tape” and make the SOS office a true partner for business. Government Reform I will utilize presently established emergency procedures to conduct the 2028 elections utilizing hand-marked paper ballots and election certification occurring only after hand counting. Economy I will take seriously the role of overseeing the offer and sale of securities while ensuring compliance with Georgia Securities Act to protect each citizen investor in Georgia.
