My Top Issues

Infrastructure / Transportation

To avoid straining streets, schools, and services further, I’ll vote for a slower rate of residential development.

Infrastructure / Transportation

Neighborhood parks (Brass Oak, Homestead, and Rollingwood, for example) would benefit from equipment upgrades, restrooms, and additional shade. I intend to explore those options.

Taxes / Budget

Budgeting responsibly by limiting debt and confirming returns on investment.

Education

Upholding Madison City Schools via communication with its board and stakeholders.

Infrastructure / Transportation

If necessary in the future, I favor renovating Toyota Field using reserve funds rather than adding debt.

Education

I propose an appointed youth council (grades 7 through 12), with representatives from all seven districts, to advise the city’s government and learn about its operations.

Infrastructure / Transportation

Tailoring development to preserve green spaces and maintain small-town charm.

Infrastructure / Transportation

Streamlining traffic through roundabouts, adaptive signals, and paved paths.

Taxes / Budget

I'll examine appropriations to internal departments and external agencies to confirm returns on investment.
