Healthcare In the Colorado Senate, I will continue to use my expertise as the only nurse in the General Assembly to fight for healthcare reforms that expand coverage and lower healthcare costs for all Coloradans. Wages / Job Benefits In the Colorado Senate, I am committed to supporting our working families by: fighting for livable wages, collective bargaining rights, workplace protections, and affordable housing. Education In the Colorado Senate, I will continue to ensure that our children have every opportunity to succeed by reinvesting in public education, universal preschool, and apprenticeship programs. Guns As a Representative, I have worked tirelessly to ensure that all Coloradans are protected in an equitable way. Specifically, I have focused on passing legislation that provides guidelines for gun owners to safely store their firearms, preventing future gun-related accidents. As a hunter myself, I believe we can pursue these initiatives while respecting the 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens. Infrastructure / Transportation Work to improve our state's roads and transportation options.. Immigration Stand by our Dreamers, address systemic racism, and fight to ensure that every Coloradan has the opportunity to earn a good life.
