Government Reform Encouraging public feedback on major initiatives and decisions. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Advocating for modern, well-maintained equipment and appropriate staffing levels for police and fire departments to serve the citizens. Infrastructure / Transportation The town invests in infrastructure that supports residents, including roads, signage, better parks, and city services the citizens want and need. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Ensuring regular training and development opportunities for first responders. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Promoting school and church safety partnerships, especially in light of today’s evolving threats. Government Reform Live-streaming Town Council meetings and making recordings available online for residents who can’t attend. Economy Local small businesses are encouraged to grow, through reduced red tape, business-friendly policies, and visible promotion by town leaders. Government Reform Malynda also believes in term limits and has publicly pledged to serve no more than two terms—because public service should be about accountability, not career politics.
