Fun Fact

In my free time, I explore artificial intelligence and prompt engineering—not just as a tech hobby, but as a creative outlet. I use AI tools to design strategies, reimagine stories, and build entire worlds. It’s my version of sketching in a notebook—just with infinite possibilities. It keeps me curious, grounded, and reminds me that imagination and innovation can go hand-in-hand.

Past Experience

I grew up in Saline and know what it’s like to love this city while feeling priced out of it. My family went through foreclosure and bankruptcy during the 2008 financial crisis. We didn’t leave because we wanted to—we left because my parents where finding opportunities elsewhere. That experience shaped my commitment to making Saline a place where everyone has a real chance to build a life. I’m a childhood cancer survivor, a financial professional, and someone who has worked hard for every opportunity. I earned my education, received honors and recognition, and built my career through perseverance—but I also saw how often success still depends on personal connections instead of pure merit. That shouldn’t be the case. As an openly gay candidate who grew up in a rural, conservative town, I understand what it feels like to be left out. I’m running for City Council to help ensure every resident—regardless of income, identity, or background—has a voice in shaping the future of our community. I believe in a Saline that works for everyone, not just the few.

My Top Issues

Reduce cost of living

I believe affordability means more than just housing—it’s about making everyday life in Saline sustainable for everyday people. From utility costs to groceries to childcare, I’ll advocate for policies that ease the financial burden on residents without compromising our community’s quality of life.

Invest in infrastructure, create jobs

I believe strong infrastructure and local job growth go hand-in-hand. By investing in roads, utilities, and accessible public spaces, we make Saline more attractive for small businesses and new industries—creating good jobs while building a city that works for everyone.

Community involvement in decision-making

I want to make civic engagement more accessible, transparent, and welcoming. From town halls at flexible hours to better communication tools, I’ll work to ensure every resident feels heard, informed, and empowered to shape Saline’s future.
