Guns The process for concealed carry weapon (CCW) permits is currently taking over 18 months, far exceeding the expected 90-120 days. This delay is unacceptable, and I will work to expedite the process and address the federal investigation into our department’s practices. Healthcare We must prioritize the well-being of our personnel. With 14 department-related suicides under the current administration, we have a tragic national record. Many employees are overworked, facing forced overtime and unable to take necessary days off. We need to create a supportive environment that helps retain and recruit dedicated professionals. Government Reform I will initiate a complete forensic audit of every dollar spent by the LASD. It’s essential to understand not only how much is being spent but also where and why.
