Housing We must stop housing discrimination against people who rely on income like Social Security, disability benefits, veterans’ benefits, child support, alimony, or Section 8 vouchers. These are real ways families make ends meet, yet too many are still turned away simply because of where their income comes from. When people are denied housing unfairly, it creates more instability, deepens inequality, and increases the risk of homelessness across our city. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Safety requires fairness and accountability. I support policing that rejects bias, respects civil rights, and answers to the community it serves. Immigration Immigrants make our communities great. I stand with cities across the U.S. Where people have faced unlawful arrests, violence, and even death while peacefully protesting or documenting ICE actions. Flagstaff’s leaders must be ready to protect our constitutional rights. Government Reform Our city is uniquely beautiful and our essential services make that possible. As a councilmember, I will focus on making Flagstaff’s core services like emergency response, streets, and utilities work better for the people who rely on them every day. Housing We can’t build our way out of Flagstaff’s housing crisis. Real solutions require collaboration—working with other communities and proven partners like Strong Towns to implement strategies that actually work. Environment / Energy Environmental responsibility is what brought me into public service. Climate change is already impacting Flagstaff through hotter, drier weather and increased wildfire risk. I am fully committed to delivering on Flagstaff’s Carbon Neutrality Plan. Economy Our local businesses are what make Flagstaff special — they give our community its character, create jobs, and keep money circulating right here at home. Money spent locally funds essential services and keeps our city strong. I support efforts to buy and shop local because strong small businesses mean a stronger Flagstaff for all of us.
