My Top Issues
Criminal Justice / Public Safety
I also proposed roundabouts —now being adopted on 38th Avenue —to make traffic flow more efficient, reduce accidents and our streets safer.
Housing
I also believe in pursuing creative approaches—such as adaptive reuse and mixed-income developments—to meet the diverse needs of Wheat Ridge residents.
Environment / Energy
I have supported diverse transportation options, including expanded bike lanes and pedestrian access, while also advocating for renewable energy solutions. I championed the city’s Xeriscape Ordinance, which encourages water conservation, and I will continue to educate our community about water-wise landscaping.
Criminal Justice / Public Safety
My future focus on pedestrian and cyclist safety will be to work to improve site visibility around corners in our neighborhoods, ensuring better visibility and alignment with neighboring communities. I also advocated for the successful 2J Campaign, bringing future sidewalks to areas of the city where they were long overdue.
Housing
Housing is the foundation of a strong community, and we need lasting solutions. I am committed to creating a permanent revenue stream for housing while also encouraging public–private partnerships that strengthen our city’s funding options.
Criminal Justice / Public Safety
Everyone deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood, whether driving, walking, or biking. That’s why I’ve worked to address speeding and red-light running through proven tools like speed humps and photo cameras.
