Fun Fact
I have triplet boys. They are now 24. We enjoy traveling and spending time together.
I also like to create balloon decor like arches, garlands, balloon columns.
Past Experience
I have called Sandy home since 1997. With a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, I was a business systems analyst for American Express for 9 years. My husband and I raised triplet sons. After one son was diagnosed with autism, I became an advocate – for him, families like mine, and children with special needs. My advocacy efforts led to increased funding for Early Intervention and people with disabilities.
I have served on the school community council and as a delegate working with legislators. I have volunteered for Sandy City for the past 4 years. Currently, I serve as a Sandy City Service Ambassador.
With my sons now grown, I am excited to elevate my service to Sandy. I have built strong connections with residents, local business owners, City Council members and Sandy City Administration.
I believes everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and represented. If elected, I will:
Prioritize your voice in every city decision
Demonstrate fiscal responsibility
Ensure responsible growth collaborating with city administration
Strengthen neighborhood safety
Partner with Economic Development to attract and retain local businesses
I want to build a stronger, more connected Sandy.
.
My Top Issues
Stop Gerrymandering
Our state legislature should use the boundaries that an independent committee proposed rather than what they think is best.
Attracting and retaining businesses
Sandy City has many small businesses. We rely on them. Many of them are struggling. I have ideas on how we can drive more business to them as well as raise sales tax revenue for Sandy City.
Prioritize safe streets
I appreciate all Sandy City Police Department do to keep our streets safe. At times there are people driving way too fast in an effort to race others. We need to try to convince the to slow down.
