Work within the State Water Engineer’s guidelines, but advocate for local solutions that deliver real value to residents. Economy Launch a proactive economic development strategy focused on recruiting small and mid-sized, owner-operated businesses that provide quality jobs and keep dollars circulating in Cedar City. Environment / Energy Commit to expanding our parks and recreation offerings. Every family in Cedar City should have outdoor spaces to gather, play, and unwind. Infrastructure / Transportation Support new development that reflects the character and values of our community. Push for updates to high-density zoning ordinances and encourage Traditional Neighborhood Design that fosters the development of neighborhoods and homes, not just housing units.
