Taxes / Budget As Prince George's County works to regain its Triple-A bond rating, experienced and fiscally responsible council leadership is essential to sound financial management and long-term stability. Social Services As Chair of the Holistic and Sustainable Solutions for Seniors Citizens Task Force, Councilman Harrison remains committed to helping our senior community experience a higher level of care and standard of living. Infrastructure / Transportation Creating Prince George's County Plan 2050 is critical to assuring the County's long-term success, aligning land use, transportation, housing, economic development, and environmental goals. Infrastructure / Transportation Councilman Harrison has worked with MNCPPC to study the feasibility of a dedicated Medical Innovation Corridor in District 9, bringing healthcare, research, and commercial businesses into one coordinated ecosystem. Economy As the two-time Chair of the Education and Workforce Development Committee, Councilman Harrison consistently championed increased public-school funding, workforce training, and youth enrichment. Economy In an era of technological advancement and increasing service demands, the County must continue to build institutional capacity through modernization, automation, and workforce development. Infrastructure / Transportation Rewriting outdated zoning and master plans is critical to community diversity and building the County's commercial tax base. The Subregion 5 & 6 Master Plan rewrite will provide a blueprint for modernized growth. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Public Safety represents approximately 19.3% of Prince George's County's General Fund budget. Councilman Harrison fully supports continued investment in police, fire/EMS, and community partnership. Economy The County must prioritize infrastructure investments in rural communities — including roadway resurfacing, agritourism, food access, a new Police Division V station, and expanded water storage systems.
