Fun Fact

I’m a big believer in balance, so when I’m not working or volunteering, you can find me singing along to just about any song (there’s a song for every situation!), curled up with a good book, or laughing with friends and family. I also love exploring nature trails; it’s my go-to for clearing my mind and recharging.

Past Experience

I have over 15 years of experience in leadership, nonprofit development, and strategic planning, helping organizations secure millions of dollars in funding to strengthen their programs and expand their reach. Since 2021, I have served as a mentor with Ansonia Public Schools, supporting students in dreaming big and achieving their goals. Most recently, I served as lead writer for the Valley Community Health Assessment, a comprehensive, data-driven report that identified our region’s strengths, challenges, and needs. This work deepened my understanding of how policies, resources, and community voices come together to shape real change, an experience I will bring to the Board of Alders to improve the quality of life for Ward 5 residents.

My Top Issues

Fund youth mentorship and leadership programs

I believe that every young person deserves access to mentorship and leadership opportunities that prepare them for success. I will advocate for increased funding to expand these programs, helping our youth build confidence, skills, and a sense of purpose.

Invest in mental health resources

Healthy communities are the foundation of a strong city. I will work to expand access to quality healthcare, mental health resources, and wellness programs that meet residents where they are.

Supporting entrepreneurship and small businesses

Small and minority-owned businesses are the heartbeat of our community. I will push for equitable access to funding, resources, and opportunities that allow these businesses to grow and create local jobs.
