Infrastructure / Transportation Seek State and Federal Grants: The city and county can apply for state and federal funding, such as Solid Waste Infrastructure and Recycling (SWIFR) and Recycling and Illegal Dumping (RAID) grants, to improve local recycling efforts. Criminal Justice / Public Safety County and city law enforcement should continue to actively pursue charges against illegal dumpers. Infrastructure / Transportation The city must secure consistent funding and prioritize investments in new, reliable equipment for its sanitation department.
