About Me

Doctor of Chiropractic

Why I am Running

Dr. Tina Bennett-Burton is a Chiropractor with a successful clinic in Farmers Branch, a mother and the current Farmers Branch Mayor Pro Tem/City Councilwoman for District 2 and former City Council in District 3. Mayor Pro Tem Burton has served two special election terms equaling just over three years of council experience. She is now running as the incumbent for District 2 to maintain her seat. She aims to nourish Farmers Branch's reputation as a premier destination in North Texas for both career and family opportunities, ensuring a bright future for generations to come. A passionate advocate for her community, Tina's journey in local politics began when Farmers Branch creek started eroding properties and posed a threat to neighborhood children. Undeterred by bureaucratic delays, she rallied her neighbors and successfully took their concerns to the city council, ultimately securing essential repairs that ensured the community's safety along the creek.
