My Top Issues

Housing

Tramane will champion the launch of a Heritage & Homestead Program, a first-of-its-kind initiative that helps preserve historic properties, support family landowners, and encourage adaptive reuse of older homes and buildings.

Government Reform

Tramane will revamp the appointment process to make it more accessible, inclusive, and transparent, ensuring more residents have a real opportunity to lead and shape city policy, no matter their background or network.

Infrastructure / Transportation

To protect pedestrians and improve quality of life, Tramane will advocate for traffic-calming measures near schools, parks, and high-foot-traffic zones, making our neighborhoods safer without compromising and already hectic flow.

Taxes / Budget

Tramane will introduce participatory budgeting tools that allow community members to help decide how a portion of city funds are allocated toward capital projects.

Taxes / Budget

To ensure city dollars go further and reflect community values, Tramane will also work to modernize Saline’s procurement systems, launching transparent vendor dashboards, public accountability metrics, and performance tracking tools.

Infrastructure / Transportation

Tramane believes in building a Smarter Saline by modernizing infrastructure, embracing digital innovation, and empowering residents to shape their city through transparent, data-driven tools.

Environment / Energy

Tramane will launch a Green Saline certification program to recognize households and businesses that meet local sustainability goals. He’ll also work with regional partners to reduce emissions, plant more trees, and preserve vital greenspaces for future generations.

Civil Rights

Tramane will work to introduce inclusive programming for youth & teens, seniors, 2SLGBTQIA residents, BIPOC communities, and working class families here, while also broadening how Saline defines diversity.

Arts / Culture

To help strengthen civic pride and connection across the city, Tramane will work with Saline Main Street and the Arts & Culture committee to launch Made in Saline, a cultural promotion initiative that celebrates the local artists, makers, musicians, storytellers, and small businesses who bring Saline to life.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

Tramane will work to ensure Saline’s first responders remain a source of trust and security, he’ll support full staffing, modern training, and continued investment in our Fire and Police Departments, so they’re equipped to serve with professionalism, integrity, and care.

Taxes / Budget

Smart budgeting builds long-term stability. Tramane will advocate for transitioning Saline to a zero-based budgeting model, requiring each department to justify every dollar, every year, so we are creating sensible budgets.

Environment / Energy

Tramane will prioritize smart, energy-efficient upgrades to city buildings, parks, and public infrastructure to lower utility costs, reduce emissions, and improve the experience for everyone who uses them.

Infrastructure / Transportation

Tramane will advocate for sustained investment in Saline’s aging water infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable service for every household.
