The City Constable is responsible for law enforcement functions similar to police officers such as arrests and traffic citations, but the City Constable also works closely with courts to perform judicial tasks like serving warrants and subpoenas.

Eligibility Requirements

18 years of age. Each board member must be a resident of the district from which he is elected for at least 30 days before filing declaration of candidacy for the office.

Filing Requirements

The County Clerk, or the Registrar of Voters in Clark and Washoe Counties, is the filing officer for county and township offices and for any offices elected from districts completely within one county or part of one county. Filing fee is $100.
