Job description
The County Treasurer/Public Administrator/Collector is a joint position responsible for cash management, investing, and safekeeping all County funds. The County Treasurer is also responsible for billing and collecting of real estate and personal property taxes countywide, including taxes on mobile homes, lot line adjustments, and tax clearances. They also administer estates of deceased residents who are without available family to administer the estate or who did not leave a will designating a person to serve as executor of the estate.

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, a registered voter, and otherwise qualified to vote for that office at the time that nomination papers are issued to the person.
