Job description

The County Treasurer is responsible for collecting, receipting, and depositing funds from all county departments, investing county monies, and reconciling county bank accounts. They are also responsible for posting municipal tax collections and maintaining tax settlements for each municipality.

Eligibility requirements

A candidate for county superintendent of schools must be a qualified elector, hold a valid, current class 1 professional certificate, class 2 standard certificate, or class 3 administrative and supervisory certificate issued by the superintendent of public instruction, and have at least 3 years of successful teaching experience.
