Job description

The City Auditor is responsible for independent oversight of the city's financial operations.

Eligibility requirements

Must be a citizen of Oregon, a Portland registered voter, and a resident of Portland for 1 year immediately preceding the election. Must obtain one of the following certifications and provide copies of such certification at the time of filing, per City Charter Section 2-502: Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or Certified Management Accountant.
