Job description
The Township Supervisor is a member of a multi-person Board of Supervisors charged with general governance of the township and execution of legislative, executive and administrative powers. The Supervisor is responsible for setting and enacting policies and resolutions, levying taxes, and setting budgets.
Eligibility requirements
All elected officers must be registered voters of the township, 18 years old and residents of the township for at least one year before their election. In townships divided into wards, commissioners must have also resided in their ward for at least one year before their election. Controllers are required to be competent accountants.
