Infrastructure / Transportation We should support allowing access to a multitude of providers for services our residents use every day—especially for services like Internet. Infrastructure / Transportation We should consider traffic solutions that reduce the amount of outsider "cut-through" traffic on our busiest streets, while improving traffic flow for our residents. Infrastructure / Transportation We must improve our efforts in the creation and maintenance of our sidewalks and bike paths, to ensure that Winter Park remains accessible to residents of all ages. Government Reform I will always listen to concerns and positions about issues that may come before the City Commission. Especially when it comes to local issues, the details are very important, and answers are not always black-and-white. Working together, we can and should be able to find mutually-agreeable solutions. Arts / Culture I will preserve the charm that makes Winter Park one of the best places in America to live and visit Legislation The use of "golf carts" on City streets is growing, with operators seemingly getting younger by the day. What some may understandably think of as a golf cart (which unlicensed drivers that are 14 years of age are allowed to operate) are actually what Florida law defines as a Low Speed Vehicle (which are required to be "street legal" and which require a valid driver license to operate). We need to ensure that our residents are educated on this issue, so that our children remain safe and do not get in trouble with the law.
