Immigration She will also demand full cooperation with federal immigration enforcement, ensuring that illegal immigrants who commit crimes are held accountable—not released back onto our streets. Economy Kim believes in limited government and free markets. She will fight for pro-business policies that bring high-paying jobs to Charlotte County, ensuring long-term economic growth and prosperity. Infrastructure / Transportation Kim will prioritize real solutions by adding a new I-75 interchange, upgrading Burnt Store and River Roads for hurricane evacuation readiness, and ensuring smarter growth planning to prevent future traffic bottlenecks. She will fight for responsible development, so infrastructure grows alongside the community instead of creating new congestion problems. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Kim will oppose soft-on-crime policies that put criminals before law-abiding citizens. She believes that criminals should be behind bars, not back in our neighborhoods, and will work to keep Charlotte County one of Florida’s safest places to live. Infrastructure / Transportation Kim will cut through red tape to expedite the reopening of Port Charlotte Beach Complex and Englewood Beach, both of which have been inexcusably delayed. She will also work to rebuild the Cultural Center, an essential asset for retirees and local residents. Government Reform Politicians should serve, not stay. Florida imposes term limits on the Governor, Cabinet officers, and State Legislators—County Commissioners should be held to the same standard. Kim will fight to enact term limits, ensuring fresh leadership and stopping career politicians from entrenching themselves in power. Healthcare She will advocate for new hospitals and expanded medical facilities to ensure residents have greater access to quality healthcare without long drives or long waits. She will also work to strengthen healthcare workforce training programs in partnership with local colleges and push for expanded specialized care so residents don’t have to leave the county for essential treatments. Taxes / Budget Kim will fight for a 5% general fund budget cut, putting an end to wasteful spending, and ensuring every tax dollar is spent responsibly. Kim also recognizes that our county government is growing at an unsustainable pace. She will champion a hiring freeze for new budgeted positions, with the exception of law enforcement and first responders. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Beyond recovery, Kim is committed to strengthening storm resilience by securing state and federal funding to harden infrastructure to protect against future hurricanes. She will ensure Charlotte County is better prepared rather than playing catch-up. Environment / Energy Kim will fight for Everglades restoration projects, prioritize septic-to-sewer conversions to reduce nutrient loading, and secure state and federal funding to combat harmful algal blooms. Protecting our waterways isn’t just an environmental issue—it’s a pro-business, pro-property rights, and pro-tourism stance that strengthens our local economy and preserves our coastal lifestyle. Economy As a successful business founder, Kim knows what it takes to create jobs and grow the economy. She will cut unnecessary regulations that stifle small businesses, work with the private sector to create a more competitive economic climate and expand workforce training programs to match job opportunities with skilled workers. Housing Charlotte County cannot function without nurses, teachers, and first responders—yet many of them can’t afford to live here. Kim will support incentives for responsible workforce housing development and champion public-private partnerships to take advantage of state housing programs. She will work to streamline zoning policies to allow for attainable housing while protecting property values.
