Infrastructure / Transportation She will prioritize sustainability, innovation, and transparency, and will champion the commercial activation of blighted corridors to revitalize underused areas, support local businesses and entrepreneurs, and strengthen the city for generations to come. Housing She will fight for workforce housing, support for first-time homebuyers, and fair taxation that eases the burden on working families. Infrastructure / Transportation Monique supports smart, thoughtful development that tackles infrastructure challenges like flooding and congestion while preserving the city’s iconic architecture, cultural legacy, and vibrant neighborhoods. Education Monique supports school choice policies that empower parents to choose the best educational path for their children — whether it’s a traditional public school, a charter, or other high-quality options — so no one has to leave the city to secure a strong start.
